  • Good stuff, please add it on Vimeo, so I can add it on the various HV20 channels there.

BTW, if you're trying to get the film look, go easy on contrast and saturation, film has these low... :)

  • Thanks for the feedback, Eugenia! I'll make sure to upload this to Vimeo as soon as I can.

I'd like to say that I really appreciate what you've done for the hv20 and indie film-making community, and I thank you for all of your time and effort you've put into helping us aspiring filmmakers out!

  • cool video

    making a western myself

but you need to lower your exposure, inlots of your shots the whites are really white and bright, you just need to manually lower it and you wont lose the details ther

  • really nice work guys, im planning on doing a short film soon too.

  • 1:06-1:30 song plz?

  • Very good. Slow at the begining, I was tempted to just skip out. I would suggest you fade into the diging. Have the camera and audio ease up on it rather than the abruptness. The abruptness might work if there were many workers but I know budget does not permit.

    Anyway nice film.

Soundtrack really works out great in the end

Chase scene kinda lame... part of the whole slow beginning.

If you you are now watching it stay to the end, It gets better, it is worth it.

    Four Stars

  • how did you get rid of background noise????

  • Gotta admit guys that was pretty damn impressive to be honest.

Only two minor gripes, I felt like the shot at 2:26 went on a little too long, there should've been some close ups on the character's faces while they were conversing.

Also, try mixing the audio a little better. Try reducing the noise where there's dialogue so you don't get the "hiss" sound from the camera tape, as you can often hear it cut to another shot.

Other than those though, it was a cracking film! I'm subscribing! haha =]

  • Acting and diologue suck! but shots are awesome!!

  • great job. nice setting and cinematography is highly decent,

The over-saturation gets to me though.
