You were my best friend...
The one that was closest to me
Like ma breast, held to my chest plate,
My best mate, the one I trained with
N gained weight,
in my heart n my mind started to vacate
any time u werent there
king n queen,
check mate.
It was like a chess game,
Made ur move smoothly to me
Provin true coz u knew
Exactly how to do it 4 me
But im more than u can chew,
Food richer than any money,
Funny how I grew to u
Coz u never truly knew me fully.
Could never be me,
As in She...
Cos she was too much,
Untamed, too tough
For me to let her speak n b free
U see. I took a chance
And danced to your beat
Of broken rhythms,
Spinnin til my balance was peak.
U know how long this is?
You were my angel,
But now all I see is a man
Of broken promises.
U got my back? I take it back
Retail. Omega Betrayal,
Try to fight for dominance?
Well Im an Alpha Female.
Supression was your weapon
Of choice,
To stifle my voice,
Strip the heartstrings
Of my spirit.
A gimmick?
The perfect lyric?
But every move and pivot
Follows the laws as taught
Of motion in physics
You forced me to fall,
Moving forward
Toward my plausible cause.
Til u forced me to stall.
Acellerated my affections
A blessing? I stand corrected
With the poison your confessing
Protest not coz yet,
The final law is the best
Action reaction
But my vengeance has ebbed
Spells and hexes bereft.
In fact I think it's a test
I wont lessen myself
For your detestable steps

First, Our minds connected,
In a way so prophetic,
The positive to my negative,
Charged particles. Ions, magnetic.
The perfect equation
React on impact
And manifest something amazing
But only between us
But Built solidly on honesty,
Patience.
Our secret, sacred like masons
Years in the making;
With a mutual respect,
So when your at my left
I never fear what im facing
If I am She..
Then You are He,
That hears my words,
When I cannot speak
Lost in translation
Hide and seek,
With misunderstood
But you find my feet.
Our paths alwyas lay parallel
Star crossed talks
walking adjacent with caramel.
Burnt sugar
The sweetest sensation
Scorched by the torch
Debauched by the nation.
Fell into a place of jezebels,
Satans.
Doesn't faze me.
They cant infiltrate
Our simple state.
With two revolutionaries
Sittin at the distal gates.
Sit and wait,
For clarity.
The worlds profanity to disintegrate
In the mean time
Secure a meeting of the minds
Distorted logic
Spiritual boxing
Intoxicated with freedom
Where iv been claustrophobically boxed in
Now,I look at my friend
Brown sugar, melanin
And see these complex questions developing
U see ur rich smarts
Kick start my heart
Like adrenaline.

Is there more than a friend in him?
Half the time
I cant look into ur eyes when we speak
Coz im weak, smile,
Too red to be disguising my cheeks
Broke the stereo type
Open the skys when the outlook is bleak
Is this an angel I see?
No fences, defences
Fillled the tenches in me..
The Tiger in the night,
The wild ghost, broken by the light
Stars crossed, hearts lost
Near or far
U seem to Heal my ardent scars,
I didn't forsee this being
On par with me,
The arc in the hardest sea
All I mean is u simply see
The side of me I never thought
The tide would reach.
So leave your footprints in the sand
Tentatively take my timid hand
Stand upon this distant land
Synthesizing lisful plans
Coz to me, u r the definition of a man
