Actually GATO, beyond a certain point the altimeter cannot be trusted. Anything under around 80 feet and you're better off eye-balling it.

almost a year ago crash't a f-16 in the north sea from the belgium airforce

The altimeter was set wrong. The pilot thought he was at a certain altitude to perform that meunuver when he was really a couple hundred feet lower then he thought he was.

its not the engine failurs.pilots pull the jet quickly before 4000ft.he have to change the manuver after reaching 4000ft.its pilot mistake not the enginer failure.
