Man, what crappy players they got to do some of these spots. Other than Schmidt, Dalton and Samuel, most of these guys sucked. Von Hayes? Don Carman? Kevin Gross? Well, Von Hayes wasn't that bad but overall, the Phillies of the mid-80's weren't very good. Still though, good to see these old commercials see the light of day once again.

Man, they just don't make commercials like this anymore...I like how Von Hayes tells the women, who mow the lawn, to bring their husband to the game...Phanatic steals a man's wife named Ethel...The 3 jabronies who really want 2 stolen bases & a double play are really into the game a little too much if you ask me...The Vet was so much better with the yellow & orange seats before they became all blue. Thanks for posting these great commercials...Happy 25th anniversary to the 1986 Phillies!!!!

yea don carmen and steve jeltz sucked, except for that time steve jeltz hit 2 HRs in the same game from both sides of the plate.

Steve jeltz i agree with but von hayes was solid he just came with huge expectations and don carmen was 2 outs away from a perfect game back in 86

First of all...the Mets DO suck (their fans even know that) and the Marlins shouldn't even be mentioned as a baseball franchise! What pride...lucked up both times you won then sold away your team both times? Who in Miami even knows when the Marlins are in town for a homestand? Talk to Phils fans when YOUR team has actual fans that support their team. The Marlins would've moved and became the Washington Nationals if it weren't for '97 and '03. Go Fightin' Phils...and let the haters hate!
