close up look at target for AK Accuracy at 100 yards.

what exactly is a flyer and how is it caused?

@whisperingdeath308 I actually pulled that shoot and when I was up at the target incorrectly called it a flyer.

nice video... not to many videos like this ..... what kind of ak do you have?by the holes and bad grouping id say 7.62x39.. is it a wasr 10 ?

Each square is one inch. I pulled the third shot and the 4th was back in the square. No sight adjustments or anything. Some wasr are good others bad. This is a good 7.62x39 group except for that flyer.

Pizza box at 100 is no problem for most AK's. Mine is 30 years old, has had thousands of rounds put through it by at least 3 owners, and can still hit pop cans at 25 yards. I can't complain, it's fund watching them fizz.

@whisperingdeath308 its just a term for human error. he might of pulled he trigger to soon or just moved his placement off the the bullseye.

3 of those shots were 1 MOA? Wow, nice shooting! If I get 3 inch groups at 100 yards with my WASR I am ecstatic. You obviously have the fundamentals of trigger control etc down well.

man i need a good video cam, my I.O. AK47 does just like advertised on there web sight, its stays 2" or less at 100 with irons, suported, with cold bore, if i heat it up then its not so good

Yup, another AK shooting well. It annoys me when ppl say they are inaccurate.

These shoots patterns. There are no 'flyers' :O). 10 shots groups will dail the rifle in much better. Add a Mojo peep and the sight picture is simular to that of an AR. The elevation adjustment is much more precise and the windage adjustments making sighting in much easier and target aquisition faster.
