@johnothy Well, it is a TV show. But Alexis probably stood to lose her funding if she remarried. And Blake was married to his business. I mean, when he did marry another woman, he married his secretary.

So for 16 years Alexis never saw her children and stayed away? She nor Blake never remarried during that time? It seems odd it took him 15 years to remarry when he did Krystle the year before, and Alexis never came back in all that time to see her children?

so if Roger was about to testify against Alexis on her return to Denver why would she be fighting for him on the end with Blake who really loved her once. She is a such an idiot. Roger didn't give a crap about her.

@will0031 , I liked John's character Blake in season 1. he was a lot like JR ruthless in bussiness which you need to be in the bussiness world you can't be a soft kind wimp. in bussiness you need to like Blake was.

I am really glad that they decided to do that, John's character in season 1 was awful!

The dialogue and storylines were so much better in the first 2 or 3 seasons. After that, it became all shoulder pads, hairspray and catfights — all good fun, of course — but not as character-driven which is the hallmark of a good soap opera.
