  • I don't think he ever got the credit he deserved for this, it still sounds so fresh today

  • Steve White deserves endless praise. He's a fantastic drummer, and Weller, being so talented himself, knows that.

  • Powerful lyrics with meaning...such a Great song!

  • Disco shit.

  • @highschoolmusical841 GOOD POINT YOU MAKE.IT WAS A BAD TIME FOR WELLER ,HIS ATTITUTDE CHANGED TOWARDS CONTRACTS ND RECORD COMPANYS AND HE DID FALL OUT WITH HIS FATHER OVER THIS,IT WAS A STRANGE TIME FOR ME AS WELL TRYING TO ACCEPT THE WELLER WE KNEW ND LOVED AS A REBEL,THAT TURNED HIM INTO THE MELLOW PERSON WE ALL ARE,HOPEFULLY.SORRY ABOUT THE GRAMMAR,IM RANTING LOL

  • @highschoolmusical841 I know everything there is to know about Weller, trust me, been a fan since 1980 The Jam and The Style Council. The Cost Of Loving got bad press as well as fans not liking it. I was just saying I don't get it, it was one of their strongest albums!

  • the song is good but the video is crap

  • Love this tune. "The Cost of Loving" is a very underrated gem.

  • Excellent. There was a crop circle there today. Did you know this was filmed for a short movie 'Jerusalem'.

  • paul weller should be one of the musicians whose music you must hear at some point in your life before you die along with stevie wonder, michael jackson, the rolling stones, van morrison, sting, the clash, the kinks, pat metheny, aretha franklin, tina turner, norah jones, eric clapton among others.

if you die without ever listening to any of this guys music st Peter should close you the doors to heaven and give you an ipod to listen to good music before resting in peace.

  • @echorich totally agree. brilliant is such a small word !!
