  • All you cunts saying that there are no more Bad Seeds after Mick Harvey left, I'll be damned. Martyn Casey has been in the band for several years if not decades, Jim Sclavunos is also a pimp and need I say more about Warren Ellis. Thomas Wydler, Conway Savage are also beasts, etc. I always saw The Bad Seeds as not a definite group, but a loose gathering of bad motherfuckers. The real driving force is Cave and his ability to bring forth new material to record, and it hasn't sounded bad to me yet.

  • No, it's Nick Cave and some of the Bad Seeds

  • Is it me or is this girl in a creepy way hot?

  • @peppermintchrist totally agree. Also I think Warren gave a GREAT contrubution in The Bad Seeds even though he came later on. I really hope for a new album, i went to see Grinderman tonight and they were great...

  • @peppermintchrist - Certainly the best thing I've seen written in these here parts for a long time. Nick Cave has one of the best iterations of the Bad Seeds yet.

  • @morganwolf5 you sound like me! antway lucky for you that you get to see them in oct, I will most likely have to wait after all I only live in their real home of Australia!!! they do play here fairly regularly though. The last time I saw them it was a Bad Seed concert and their back up band was Grinderman!!! best ever about 3 and a half hours of pure Nick. Enjoy that concert =))

  • @morganwolf5 very wrong

  • @asjabluedog I'm also a die-hard. I think Nick is at that point of fame where he can perform his material anywhere, anytime, with anybody - and fans will pay buckets of cash to see it. He doesn't need to record new Bad Seeds material as long as he can perform the old stuff whenever he makes a public appearance, even book readings. Fwiw - I have tix to see G-man in Oct. My g/f asks, 'will they do Bad Seeds songs?' Think about it: "Instead of the cross, the Albatross

    About my neck was hung."

  • @morganwolf5 correct, I just didn't know what you meant by the comment. I am wondering now that Harvey has left the Bad Seeds and Grinderman are doing so well if there will be any more Bad Seed recordings or concerts? am sadly thinking that they will be no more and that the Grinderman pheonix has gloriously risen from the Bad Seed ashes. I think Grinderman are a great band but am a die hard Bad Seed fan and always will be =))

  • @asjabluedog

I'm referring to Nick being the last founding member of The Bad Seeds.

  • @morganwolf5 what is that supposed to mean?
