Nexus Q streams your favorite entertainment directly from the cloud to your living room. Just use the Google Play and YouTube apps on your Android phone or tablet to surf an ocean of music, TV, movies and music, and Nexus Q will play it all on the biggest speakers and screen in the house. There are no downloads, no syncing, no running out of space. Just the stuff you love -- at home and out loud.

We need widespread broadband for the cloud to work. According to OECD's definition, the average Canadian doesn't even have access to broadband internet and the US just barely passes the mark. Can't we wait a few more years until the next generation of iridium satellites are launched before we become dependant on web applications ?

I think that when people say Chinese products are crappy, they are making a point about SOME Chinese products that are a copy of other products. And the nexus q wasn't crappy at all, the problem with it was the odd price and basically the lack of vital functions It was very well constructed, and having said that, it was a hood American product overall.

And some of the American are complaining how Chinese products are crappy. Okay, now it your chance to take the lead and look how successful it was...

The only reason why Nexus is not popular is because it was made in USA (I mean the price) instead of made in China.

For people who doesn't understand what this do, imagine your Google Play Library..... in this device, to your TV or other devices. Which is controllable by your Android phone. So your friend can listen to a music he/she doesn't have and you will be the one controlling it. Or a friend of yours can listen, watch, read stuff on your library on his/her device.( Obviously with your permission.)

This connects to home speakers, for loud music, not small bluetooth speakers, but, i still think this device is pointless. So niche its not even worth making it.
