On Tuesday, June 2nd Tucson LGBT and their allies gathered in Catalina park to protest the Supreme Court's Decision regarding Prop 8. It was a day of mixed emotions as those that had already been married, found their marriages still legal. But for those couples who have yet to join they may have to wait awhile. Though if any of those at the rally have a say then come this time next year Prop 8 will be gone and those who wish to marry their boyfriends, girlfriends or significant other will be able to hear wedding bells, go crazy with wedding plans and finally dance their first dance as a married couple.
Everything was put together by a gentleman named Buck Bannister who founded Rainbow Foot Soliders in January 2009. The website can be found at http://rainbowfootsoldiers.com
