Every outdoor setting deserves a beautiful focal point, like a water fountain. Begin by purchasing a pot, plantainer, a poly planter bowl, spray paint, pavers, decorative river rock and stepping stones, a fountain pump, hose clamp, sealant tubing and a drill. Begin by painting the rim of the pot to match the container. While that drys, dig a hole big enough for the plantainer. Position the pump to one side of the plantainer, then attach 5 feet of one half inch tubing to the nozzle. Now stack pavers in the bottom of the plaintainer. Feed the tube through the terra cotta pot. Drill a 1/2 inch hole in the center of the poly planter bowl. Feed and attach all tubing and attach with a clamp. Insert the poly planter bowl, the fountain spout and seal with sealant. Now add decorative stone inside the planter. Fill the plantainer with water, then the pot with water. Plug in the fountain. Next hide the fountain wire with mulch and lay stepping stones around the fountain, and you're done.

Does anyone know how much this project would cost?

The large pot is the most expensive piece of this project and can cost around $100. Thanks for visiting Lowe's on YouTube. -Lowe's

This seemed really easy. It would have been nice if Lowes actually carried the black plastic container and the plastic bowl.

Hello I have made many of these. If your still interested in makeing one ill tell you the substitutes i have used to make them for customers here in my lowes store. Instead of the round tube for the bottom. Go to Lumber and get a concrete mixing tube. Its stronger and cheaper then the one they use in the video. and instead of the bowl on top i have used terra cotta saucers. they work just as well

Yes Connie that is not a problem. I have made many of these in the Garden Centers here at my work and most of the time i do add the mess. Just because at closing everynight the guys and gals use a leaf Blower to clean the garden center. I just attach it to the base container with zip ties.
