Honestly, I'd pay to see Snooki get poked anywhere other than her vagina.

I am a huge fan of the classic comedians: The Three Stooges, The Marx Brothers, Laurel and Hardy, etc. When I heard this movie was coming out, I was really upset, assuming that it would be a modernized verion turing the Stooges into nothin but sex jokes and toilet humor. Though there were some parts that were a tad, shall we say, icky (the baby "pee shooters" for example) I was pleasantly surprised! The actors did such a great job portraying he characters! I LOVE this movie!!!

For a movie like this, especially since it IS based off of older slapstick comedy, it's best to start out with even the lowest of expectations, because this film isn't meant to be a grand reboot. It was never to be taken as a serious movie. Besides, any Stooges fan would have loved to see a modern adaption of the trio. I'm not saying this one was perfect, but it was enjoyable and worth watching. Unless you believe you're above the particular kind of humor in this film. :P

I agree. I saw the movie more as a tribute to the old trio; not a reboot, not a sequel, etc. Just a good, classic, Stooges slapstick humor in modern day. They even managed to put in some funny wordplay (which is another Stooges characteristic). Even the Stooges' personalities and voices were done well. My one nitpicky thing was the icky parts (like the peeing part) and I felt, at some parts, the poking and slapping was a bit much. Other than that, it was an enjoyable movie.

You can't go back to that era of the 30's-40's & you can't recreate a classic original: & the Stooges WERE/ARE original. The REAL Stooges had years of experience on the live stages of Vaudeville before they even stepped in front of a movie camera. They didn't happen overnight & their characters developed just as slowly. What's next? A remake of "Gone With the Wind" with actors imitating the original stars? It could never be done. Hence why this film didn't last long in theaters.

I'm actually surprised this movie was able to come out during this whole PC ANTI BULLYING campaign era. I swear I was expecting the 3 actors to come out at the end"what we do in front of the camera is slapstick tomfoolery but there's nothing fun about real life bullying" or some crap like that. I swear some people are just so sensitive nowadays.
