Getting rid of a dog's tear stains simply requires using a clean, dry cloth to soak up the tears, making sure the dog closes their eyes when the cloth is near. Rub out dark tear stains off of a dog's face with tips from a certified dog trainer in this free video on pet care.

  • That was ABSOLUTELY stupid. That will not get rid of a tear stain. WTF?

  • @ywmpg You're welcome. :3 Glad I could help.

  • @Killer9White9Wolf

You're the ONLY one with decent help that I've found on YouTube so far!!

    Thanks for posting!!

  • This was useless. A dry cloth just dries it, which makes it worse! Put petroleum jelly under the eyes, let it sit for about 10 mintues, then wipe it off (with a cloth and warm water) to get rid of junk. For the red marks, use diluted or just plain peroxide on a cloth and rub it on and let it sit. Tear stains can be caused by a lot of things, but I read somewhere that feeding your dog liver and switching to purified water help to.

  • that was the dumbest advice. wow
