  • I knew Terry he was a genuine person with a lot of heart that just enjoyed entertaining and sharing his music, but remember he was a musical talent. Not just a good voice a talented guitarist.

If you enjoy my archives please subscribe and welcome to my show!

  • FYI- Terry the Consumate Entertainer he was performed this without ever practicing this with the band.

They said they could do it so he said he would give it a go and so this video was captured. joelsamuelpresents

  • That's great to hear. Terry yes unfortunately only had one huge hit. A couple others in the top 40 that didn't go much of anywhere. He was pretty much screwed by the industry as many were and never made a dime off his biggest hit. Fortunately he wrote Amarillo by Morning which Strait recorded and Big in Vegas that Owens recorded so he got along ok. He's not like the others you mention though as he never tried to sound like Elvis nor make a career out of sounding like him.

  • I loved this Singer and Elvis'song when I was nine...now I'm 48...

  • wow it sound incredible with TERRY on these presentation TERRY FOR EVER THANKS

  • "Suspicion" is a song written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman. It was one of 25 songs Pomus and Shuman wrote for Elvis Presley. Suspicion featured on Presley's 1962 album Pot Luck. The song became a hit in 1964, through an Elvis sound-alike cover version by Terry Stafford. The Stafford version of Suspicion peaked at No. 3 in the U.S, and No. 31 in the UK Singles Chart.

  • booze

  • The backup singing was bad...a guitar was not in tune..yet Terry struggled to make the best of these drawbacks...RIP

  • Thank you!

  • Looks like the ZZ Top Shuffle back there.
