Exile editor Mark Ames filmed these scenes while at a demonstration in front of the police precinct where Gary Kasparov and other anti-Kremlin demonstrators were being held. With little notice, OMON paramilitary units suddenly poured out from behind the police station, surrounded and divided the protesters, formed a chain, and then started beating and arresting the core protesters, one by one. Ames filmed this from within the cordon, where he was repeatedly warned that he and the few dozen journalists and protesters would be next. However, after about a dozen or so protesters were already beaten and arrested, the OMON opened their lines again, and eventually forced protesters several hundred meters away.

  • @Me4TaTeJlb Yeah though stalins paranoia cost alot of people they're lives. He also didnt win WW2, i hardly call teaming on one large nation with three others winning, not to mention all the losses they suffered because of they're wierd methods of using there soldiers as mine detectors and sending them out with no weapons and ammunition.

  • @ambagoli21 Yes, and he won WW2, built an atomic weapon, reconstructed russian economy and so on. I think that people had reasons to approve him.
