I plan on making a full set of tuts from heightmap all the way to making your maps accessible to others in-game.

This is my first time making tutorials, so I know these are far from professional. I just hope that maybe these will help those who are wanting to make maps and still have trouble with just the text tutorials.

Maybe getting a new comp soon, and hopefully better vid quality.. meh..

I'm sorry, but I could not hear it quite well when you were saying the HTML notations for the three "pure" colors. and I didn't see quite well how you had those color bars. Sorry again, but that part I didn't quite understand. Great tutorials though. Thank you.

@Andr3w007 Sorry about that. :/ Pure red is 255 on the R bar, 0 on the G and B. Pure blue 255 on the B bar, 0 on R and G. Pure green is 255 on the G bar, 0 on R and B. I'm thinking of redoing these maybe.

Thank you sooo much for posting the height map tutorial :D once I came to watch this one, I started working on the mask, but when I try to copy it to the new file window thingy, GIMP crashes altogether. Can you help me? T.T

@LittleWolfBijuu Glad it helped you. :3 Unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with GIMP, as I never use it other then for animation. Do you mean when you copy the heightmap file to see where to draw, or something else?
