A boy's encounter with a Spanish soldier from the 16th century and local Native Americans reveals the true story of the First Thanksgiving. Pre-colonial ordinance and roast turkey --- mmmm, turkey. Just another enlightening and amusing encounter with the past on Florida's Historic Coast where our history is not the same old story.

  • The "Turkey Words" app (like turkey hangman) has St Augustine as one answer, which surprised me. I can't remember the precise clue. Maybe just "place of first Thanksgiving."

  • Lots of fun filming this at the Fountain Of Youth Archaeological Park where St. Augustine, Florida began in 1565. Nice work Chad, James and Craig!

  • Loved it , creative idea! Saint Augustine is one of my favorite Florida cities. Saludos, The Event Lady!
