Is it really heartwarming idealism to hate life for it's imperfections? i.e resenting the beliefs of others even if you do so they are okay imediatley afterwards. Or is just rank ingratitude. Why hate something for not being all that we think it should be? Is imperfection not the very thing that allows us to grow as individuals, or society as a whole? Is it really intellectual supperiority on your part to point out the short comings of the world, or is it self inflicted selective blindness?

Reading and writing brings us no closer to a spiritual experience. When one prays, one asks for direction. When one meditates, one hears direction. All to often people use god as a magical wishing well, ego justifying puppet, score keeper in the sky, and the one to blame everything good bad or indiffernt on. The ultimate cicular reasoning tool. What god actaully is.... is nothing of this sort. It's learning to live and let live.

Spirituality isn't nessarly logical, neither is religion. Taoism is a relgious belief, that proclaims spirituality. Infact, any group of likeminded individuals are by definition a religion. What most folks fail to realize about the foundation of religions that are based upon spirituality is they are ideals that came about from cultivation of the spiritual experience. Becoming in tune with intution that involves the well being of life ( other people in particular).

Haha "I'll pray of you", what an insult! Good on you.

Next time she sayes that say to her: Did you also sacrificed a goat?

People shouldn't dislike or argue with each other if they have different political beliefs anymore than if they have different opinions on religion. Nevertheless, the person that always thinks theyre right isn't going to listen to anyone else's point of view. You are simply neutral and so you can point that out to them as well. The burden of proof falls on the one who is making the claim. Keep smiling. Good luck! Great video!

I chuckle and have said a few things now and then, when they say are praying for me: 1) The god they are praying to is going to send me to eternal torment forever, so why would they want to pray to him? 2) Are they sure they are praying to the right god, since there are many of them and how can they be sure they have the right one? 3) If it makes them feel happy to pray..no problem.

To feel offended by the insinuation that your sister thought you needed mending in some way, is a normal reaction. Eventually, a family member who feels you are on the road to hell, would have to accept your stance and remember you are the person they love. I have experienced this with my family members. Regardless of differences in opinions, love is the most important factor and will hopefully help your sister get beyond her feeling of pity for your soul. (Which is what she truthfully feels.)

Hi Sarah! You are an incredible person! You are bright, positive, enthusiastic, caring, conscientious of your family, loyal, loving..
and all that I gathered from your video. You exude excellence as a human being! If only those who think they need to pray for you could be so humble and admire you for your great character than to think you are somehow flawed because you don't believe as they do.
For the loser who posted the ignorant comments: you have been blocked and your comments removed. If my son tells me he's gay, I will love him the same as I always have. Homosexuality is largely a biological trait, and he will only be being as honest with me as I have always strove to be with him. As for the rest of your comment, I will teach my children the rules and values which we as a species have developed in order to be able to successfully live in a communal setting. Now go away.

Hi Sarah, LOL.. tell my sister (Your blood sister) hi for me..
So you think I am ignorant? I forgive you.
You are right, it is not important what you believe..
You will never be united with your "blood family" if they really love Jesus then there is no "fellowship" light and dark don't mix.
I am so glad you are so smart, Keep up the good work.

See, t me, that's nothing more than a feeble attempt at fear tactics. When we die, we won't see our "blood family", or anyone else, for that matter. When we die, we die. I know it's a difficult concept to accept, but it's something we all must face one day, and I'm cool with that. Nowhere in my video did I say that you are ignorant. I said I believed yoru religious delusions to be silly, but that I understanded that different people had reasons for believing. If I had to guess, I would say...

...that you have your beliefs to use as weapons against people, in order to make you feel better about yourself. Sadly, I know several people like you. If my sister knew you, I doubt that she would want much to do with your brand of christianity. Despite her religious beliefs, my sister is a peaceful, loving woman, who wants nothing to do with drama, histrionics and hatemongering. I would suggest that you re-evaluate your approach and consider what it does to the effectiveness of your testimony.
