I also have the Roland SP-550. I see you have the SP-330... THE BEST SAMPLER EVER MADE. Love the filters in that thing... unmatched even by today's standard.

@mpresev Yes you can program your own arp but the interface sucks. Your better off running the arpeggio from your DAW. This is a great synth (16 part multitimbral). I dont think it lacks sparkle as some people say. It's definitely best for bleeppy and techy arps. Also for old school-esque stabs. If your looking for thick basslines and analog sounds then this is not the instrument for you.

Compared to other ROM-plers, e.g. by Roland, this one seems to sound quite dull and lacks the sparkle.

Hmmm...only if you think an arpeggiator driving a sample based synthesis module is 80s.
Strange.. what do you think an 80s sound is?
