  • I'm tired of all this Hitler crap. Hitler liked this opera? BFD. Lots of people do. Hitler also took a daily crap. I guess we shouldn't take craps anymore, don't want to be like Hitler...

  • KEEP POLITICS out of our BEAUTIFUL MUSIC and for those who can't move ahead in life, "GET A LIFE" somehow! I am Jewish and attend, purchase and encourage EVERYONE to ENJOY *WAGNER*

He married a Jew and was BEST FRIENDS with the JEWS and other than stating this, I don't have to DEFEND Wagner nor does anyone else here! GET A LIFE and MOVE ON with it! Nothing worse in the whole world than people who have to STAGNATE society because of their experiences even if your experience was agonizing. BarbT

  • at school we are playing this song i play horn

  • hitler :-(

  • world class

  • @ministryofsumthing They do.

  • @Bach1Beethoven It's like Life of Brian.....he was instrumental in constructing world's first highway, Humane Laws were passed in Third Reich Germany (world's first), promoted arts and culture - arts flourished in Germany, promoted vegetarianism and non-smoking environment.......

  • @lovingee1 You're right. The conductor for Parsifal's premiere, for example, was the German-born Jewish Hermann Levi. If Hitler liked Wagner, I had to admit he had a good taste in music, despite all we know about Hitler.

  • The West needs another Rienzi now more than ever!
