私が伝えたかった意味そのものです。動物の殺されるシーンを公開
したのは正解です。私も以前、牛が殺され解体シーンを見ました。 牛や羊など次に自分が殺されることを知っているのかのように逃げ て嫌がったり、涙を流している場面も何度か見た事があります。次 の1か月くらい牛類は食べれなくなりました。テキサス人は猟銃で ハト、ウサギなど打ち殺す狩りの文化があり、撃ち殺したハトやウ サギ、リスの死体を並べて競ったり、鹿など打ち殺したら、足をく くり逆さまにつり上げ血抜き、ナイフで簡単に皮をはいで解体して しまい、バーベキューパーティなどで食べていました。死体を見る と心が痛みました。でも人間は生きていくために神の恵みとして与 えてくれた動物に感謝して残さず食べてあげることが供養なんだと も聞いたことがあります。人間は生きている物を食べ、生きている こと事体が罪であり、動物や魚、野采など人間に必要な栄養を彼等 は人間に与えてくれている。食べられる命を貰って生かされている のです。だから昔の日本人は、食べる前に食事の前で手を合わせ、 殺された命を頂き今日も美味しい食事ができる事に感謝するという 意味で「頂きます」と言う習慣があります。 -
