SANTA POLA - HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011

A brief view of Santa Pola, a coastal resort 7kms south of Alicante airport on the north east coast of Spain. This video was shot on the morning of the 7th January 2011 after the festival of "The Three Kings" parade the evening before marking the start of Christian Epiphany celebrations. This commenorates when the three wise men visited infant Jesus, to present their gifts. The views include Santa Pola Castle, the fishing harbour and marina, some sand art and Santa Pola Castle Square.
