This footage was part of the documentary "De lente is gratis" (aired by the VPRO in 1999) about squatting in Amsterdam. We squatted the ADM on October 13th 1997.
The attempted demolition by Bertus Luske was 3 months later (January 1999) on a saturday at 6 in the morning....
Eventually he was convicted for this, but received a very mild sentence. (A couple of weeks of community service)
Some years later he was assassinated in a drive by shooting in front of an Amsterdam party center which he owned.
The Amsterdam government and the Luske family are still in the process of negotiating a deal around the ADM terrain
The ADM squat is going strong and is now home to some 150 people.
