I'm surprised that nobody is continuing Lennon's work as a political activist at the degree that he did.

It's probably that every music artist is afraid to oppose the government. It's a shame though, the evil bastards have won... for now.

Lennon used his fame & influence for the good of humankind, but he paid a heavy price for his beliefs. I believe the U.S government/ the CIA was involved in his assassination.
