@MajorRick12345 I agree those around were not at all helping and could have turned a bad situation worse. Fortunately this situation didn't end tragically. Unfortunately, poor choices is causing scenes like this to be played out across the country.

@hhcathedralofpraise your comments were actually appropriate. However, the actions of those around the 'arrest' were NOT helping the cause. There is NO question that racism is STILL rampant (especially in law enforcement). Fighting ignorance and abuse with belligerent remarks and hostile actions will NOT produce any type of equity. Fight them by educating yourselves with your rights. Glad he beat the charge. BTW::: i'm white, and abhor police abuse towards anyone.

If you get a speeding ticket or seatbelt ticket you can fight the ticket in court!! If your gonna be an Ass and fight a cop physically then you deserve to be arrested!!

I know Anthony personally. He was my neighbor for almost 20 yrs. I've lived in that community and know first hand of the overt racism of the SCPD. I've been handcuffed, placed in a police car and driven behind factories by this same racist department. I see the ignorant comments and I know exactly where they are coming from. The descendants of slave owners who rode the backs of the same people you talk about to prosperity.

The idiot with the camera should have been arrested for obstructing governmental administration for interfering with the arrest of that gentleman and disorderly conduct for screaming the n word in a public place over fifty times. Everyone knows all they need to about your "friend" and yourself from your narration only. Furthermore I hope the gentleman who was being placed under arrest was also charged with resisting arrest for continually fighting with the officers when being put in the car.
