Here's a movie that was science fiction with characters and a storyline grounded in urban reality (things science fiction films are claimed to never have) but failed while Avatar and Transformers make millions but are hated and diminish the entire genre's reputation. This film's financial failure was an absolute sacrilege and an example of, despite what Hollywood thinks, whether a movie is a hit or a flop is a crapshoot.

You're wondering how this movie failed? It failed because people are assholes. They probably wouldn't recognize a good movie if it bit them in the ass. But I agree. Awesome actors, awesome script, AWESOME MOVIE!!!
