  • @Herik77 The kind of shielding technology we have to work with isn't entirely applicable to this particular design. I've worked with the shielding materials and it's a real mess. Especially a material like Mumetal is very expensive and not worth constructing just to have the government confiscate it.

    I think the easiest and most plausible way would ironically be a "sprain magnet motor" (youtube search: "sprain magnet motor"). The key is to overcome the "sticky spot" through BIG size & momentum.
