I just listened to the Chantays to compare, and I have to say that I like both versions but I think I like the ending in this one better. That final riff is more pronounced.

I was Skateboarding on Brand new CLAY Wheels first time I heard this. WAY before my ride with the pepsi team in the 70s. Growing up near Huntigton beach was just AWSOME!!
