Top Ten Lollywood Female Singers # 09 "Shazia Manzoor".."Teri Aankhon Ney".."Khilona" (1996)

Directed by Madam Sangeeta,Meera played the title,featuring Shan,Saima,Saud,Laila and Saleem Shaikh,celebrated Golden jubilee,written by Iqbal Rizvi,basically was inspired by two hollywood flicks "Sleeping with the enemy" and "Fatal Attraction",music by Zulfiqar ali,sung by Shazia Manzoor.
Shazia Manzoor was the winner of Music Challenge (the first singing contest held in Indo-Pak )in 1994 and got highly appreciation,she was introduced by M.Ashraf in films as play back singer and Munda Bigda Jaye was her debut film but she got her actual success next year when "Cheif saab" released,all the songs were chart busters,that was just a brilliant beginning,Critics said "After Mehnaz a true play back singer has come in lime light".She sung for films more or less five years mean while her Private album "Chan makhna" also launched in the market,there is no need to tell that how successful that album was,BBC Asia had chosen "Ghar Aaja Sohnia" the year`s best of the best song in 1999.
That was a time when Film music lovers had lost her voice as she stopped singing in films and that was a time when Naseebo took over the market (another sad thing),during this her two more albums hit to the music libraries "Ishq Sohna" and "Hai Dil Jani"..her fourth album has released recently named "Tu Badal Gaya"..A good news is that she has started as play back singer and sung for Reema`s up coming venture..

I watched Khilona in Prince cinema..ghar aake mujhko kafi dant sunni padi thi..hehehee...as the movie was wd full of vulgarity... haan ye gana kafi achcha laga tha cinema pe. Film superhit hui thi... Thnx for this post.

@babbibaba I completely second you Jamal...and i really don`t get it why is She doing this since Khilona?,i have seen "Mujhey Galey Laga Lo","Main Chup Rahungi" and "Mutthi Bhar Chawal" all movies based on such bold issues but the way she treated i did not feel ashamed while watching,especially "Main Chup Rahungi"..its unbelievable that this movie has made in the era when no one can even thought of such issues.
