@crowley188 I always figured Kyokushin and Sanda were as effective as Muay Thai standing up. I can't say much for Sanda/San Shou, but I read that Kyokushin fighters are quite brutally conditioned for fighting as Muay Thai.

you shouldnt disrespect another art you dont train in. ive seen an itf tkd guy that trained a lil in tai do a tai fight. bfore the match he was told he should fight tkd, so as soon as go was heard he spinning back kicked this tai guy in the temple and that was that. you gotta understand if you're good enough at what you do you can do anything. not dissing tai, but it can go either way just dont be disrespecting itf tkd cause there are propper tough tkd guys out there.
