A couple of things I picked up not gaming related. I'm renting a crappy Netgear modem that locks up all the time. My ISP doesn't do a thing about it except replace it. I've gone threw four of them. I thought I should own my internet equipment and save alittle.
I have a LinkSys Wireless G&B Router, the next day I saw this Belkin G&B Wireless Router. These were at my local thrift store. I was out of town last weekend and stopped in at thrift store down there. I was searching for a cable modem, and well I found one. This is an RCA modem, right next to the box was a DSL modem I should have picked that up. That DSL modem is still there...
It's crazy people buy this stuff all the time. What I've seen at Good Will are mostly wired routers for $2.99. My whole setup costed me $10 plus the extra router. Now, I just have to find a wireless USB card. However, I did find the same Linksys router back at GW for $10.
