  • The design is ingenious! Have you found any serious limitations in regards to modulation between keys or 1/2 steps as compared to the pedal or lever harp? Are their any groups out there using this harp in rock?

  • Look up Deborah Hanson-Conant, she plays rock and jazz/blues on lever harp all the time, and is coming to Seattle to play a concert and do workshops next Spring for the local Harp Societies.

  • I can never ever hear Harper play this without crying. Or without singing "Ave Maria" along. Which is difficult to do while crying. ;)

  • that's awesome. i enjoy this

  • That's amazing

  • The cross-strung is great for modulation and 1/2-step movement since all the notes are there all the time. If your music is primarily staying in a single key or two without many accidentals, the lever or pedal harp is easier to play. Four-note chords in both hands become more difficult on cross-strung the further you get from C major. No harp is "perfect" but they all have their strengths. If you Google "rock harp" -harmonica you'll find lots of great music!

  • How wonderful and what a BLESSING!

    Thankyou

  • BRAVO, HARPER! Beautifully done!
