I grew up in Puerto Rico and this song was a hit also there. I love the way those musicians were exploring other rhythms and came up with their own blend. I was fortunate to lived through that time...thats all I am going to say. Que Viva La Fania!

This compositions will always be one of my favorites. Gene Page, who worked with Barry White for many years, has his signature sounds all over this! Listening to r&b kiss latin jazz is amazing here. Smooth! Sexy! Dynamic! Fun! Desafio, indeed!!

To Truckdriver 1520,you have the same memories as i do,in addition,i remember one of the best Hispanic DJ's in the world,Felipe Luciano (on WBLS) playing this tune as well. Another point is that some of Barry White's Love Unlimited Orchestra was used on this cut as well as some members of the Fania All Stars. One clue is that the songs were arranged by Gene Page who did all of Barry White's arrangements on the LUO albums as well as Barry White's albums

i just listened this two minutes ago on disco 935 newyork station.. i forgot this
tune for about more than 30 years..first time i listened..now im back again
in emotions.. back in 70s..disco,and salsa music..those were my best rythms
remember the glorious decade..tks for post this..im gonna search this i have it in
45rpm vinyl..in my old records

I have this album on vinyl. Definitely synonymous with 1976. It makes me think of summer of 1976 in the Bronx. I use to hear this song on WBLS, Ken "Spider" Webb played it alot. Beautiful memories.
