Magruder's Mine glitch/tip

one of my favourite little sneaky spots to help you thru this last level of gun. I did this on the xbox 360, please comment if it works on other platforms.

It really helps speed up the process of getting to Magruder, as the cannon part prior will cause much agony on the insane difficulty.

how do you beat magruder for gamecube?

i'd assume it would be the same for ps2 and xbox.. just crouch and throw dynamite at the steaming green things around the centre. i'm sure there is a video on youtube about it.

i went to the site and checked the walkthrough but it didnt really say what to do

im sorry to ask again man but where do you go to find out how to kill reed?

when reed hides, it's up away from the boat behind the rocks.. the way i did it was to go out into the water and snipe him in the head, switch to the rifle and pop him, this way he will only stay on that grassy area. it also works well to crouch where there is a drop from the grass to the sand, you should over time find a spot where you can shoot him and he cant shoot you. he'll run around in circles but wont be able to get a shot in.. remember he regenerates health

same way you do on easy.. try the gun forum on achieve360points dot com for tricks etc also the glitch that will allow you to start at any point in the game

heres a tip use your RIFLE and get him in the head a cupple of times if you horse dies use the horse's neer the boat (them people you killed b 4 u open the safe)

reed will only regain health if you can't see him so keep him in your sights at all times

Best way to do it is use the sniper, and keep hiding until he walks around looking for you, then pop him in the head. 5 times should do the trick (assuming you have all the upgrades)

to beat reed really fast like i did it took me like a minute get on a horse with you dual peacemakers and all of the upgrades for you pistols and chase him and keep shooting him dont stop except to maybe heal your horse
