It's the flat quavery quality that makes her singing unique, and I find when she tackles this kind of stuff she adds such depth with her stylings. I guess you either get Stevie or you don't.

I've never understood the Stevie Nicks thing. A hard, flat (her sound, not her intonation), colorless, utterly unbeautiful and often quavery voice (quite uncapable of adequately performing this classic song) wedded to a stage persona that's at best odd, at worst damn weird. She was pretty during her youth, decades ago. She hasn't aged well. Appearance and presence aside, how can anyone who's heard GOOD singing (particularly of this song) enjoy Nicks' stuff? Mind-boggling.
