09 02 09 classroom speech

Obama wants to indoctrinate our children with his Sept 8th speech. He is also providing classroom materials. Doesn't this sound a bit like Hitler's Youth organizations, and Chairman Mao's youth indoctrination?

Don't let it happen to your kids, especially if you are not there to explain what he's up to.

Ronald Reagan did the same thing in a nationally televised speech to kids. He even talked about his political views..Bush Sr. did the same..no backlash then, wonder why?

There *WAS* a backlash, from all those who are saying this speech was ok. Imagine that. Rather than paying attention to the message, most who say this is ok are just looking at the messenger, and they think he is the Annointed One.

Um, "tiptoe221", Obama is not asking how the youth can help America, he is asking the youth how they can help him. This is what is called a "cult-of-personality". Ever hear of the Hitler Youth? Ever hear of the Kosomol(Communist youth indoctrination in what-was Soviet Russia?) Ever see the chants that children make for Kim Jong-Il, the head of one of the most oppressive regimes in the world, North Korea. Try reading 1984, especially the passages about children's adulation for Big Brother.
