Hey, thanks everyone. I'm glad y'all enjoyed it, and I hope to get some more stuff up here someday. I have a lot of amazing video footage, most of which I have never even watched yet. Right now I'm waiting to hear back from a major production company, who contacted me because they thought I might be "a really great character" in a doc series they're developing. If only they knew what I know, we'd be doing it already. I'm pretty optimistic.

We actually did get caught several hours later, maybe 70 miles down the road. I want to put up that video eventually, but I just haven't had the time, resources, or motivation yet. I have ridden three other freight trains since then, each time solo, with much less drama than this one. I'm actually pretty damn good/efficient at it, although I did get caught the last time. I'll try to think of some tips to pass on to you. If I don't do it soon, send me a reminder.

Cool Video. I've been recreationally jumping in the north, if you do it again, I can't suggest a scanner enough. You can hear exactly what the crew is saying and know when your gonna leave and to where.

which is never ever go under a train! ive been living it 2+ years and im not that great at getting on the right train, catching a box on the fly, or even at not getting caught. sorry im being a bitch, i mean my first ride wasnt that long ago and i understand the nostalgia of it. at least talk to someone w/ expirience first!

i was in a datsun b-210 back in california in the middle 80's driving up I280 in san francisco. a truck was dead stopped in my lane and i almost went underneath it.

i remember not being able to turn my head to look into the rear view mirror.

was almost killed that day to.
