  • Comparing 'World' War 2 to the US Iraqi war?! The US has to come down from it's imperical cloud...it is not the world! But it is the richest nation in the world, and it became that super power post WW2. While Europe and Asia were crippled by WW2 America boomed. How? Why? If the American people took responsibility onto themselves and asked basic questions on their nations global actions over the past 100 years a pattern would become apparent. Bin Laden et al. is very much Frankenstien's monster!

  • You really can't say that without saying the same thing about Obama. God nows everything this administration has done has been under the guise of an emergency. We cant even take time to read a bill that's being voted on. The war is happening, the time to oppose it was before it happened. Sadamn WAS a bad guy either way so I'm not to worried about taking him out. That was actually good thing. When are we citizens going to learn that both of these groups democrat and rebublican are lieing to us?

  • Wait, you were being sarcastic weren't you. Nevermind then.

  • Dane, I can't tell if you are being sarcastic, so I'll assume you aren't. In 1984 the enemies are Eurasia and Eastasia - Parts of the world, Nations, Continents. That's pretty easily identifiable. You might have a small argument about where Europe becomes asia, but that's no biggie.

"Terrorists" could be anyone. It's anyone who wishes to use harm or the threat of violence against others to obtain political ends. Sadly, the US government fits this bill after having declared war on Iraq.

  • Thanks, but it doesn't matter who they are. what matters is that we're Oceana and we're always right.

  • Hehe, great comment. But who is Eastasia and who is Eurasia?

  • Another great video.

Can't wait for the next president. (As long it's not John McCain!)

  • didn't this exact thing happen in "1984"? They just kept the war going to get what they wanted. Common, that's fiction, this war is totally different, in 1984 the enemies were unidentifyable, in this case we know it's the terrorists that we're supposed to be afraid of.

  • These are just a few of the things we know about for sure, I wonder how many more objectionable actions of our government are hidden from our view.

  • Do you think it is possible the leaders of Al Qaeda have been allowed to stay free for a reason? Maybe, just maybe the Bush Administration has allowed them to remain at large to maintain a heightened sense of fear here at home as justification for their domestic political agenda. They have used the fear of terrorism as the reason behind the Patriot Act, and the resultant diminishing of our personal freedoms, and the national disgrace of Guantanamo Bay and using torture as a weapon.
