Natasha talks to Alexander about Andrei. She is sad because Andrei was very distant to her. The prince wants to talk to him.
A court lady, Ekaterina Narashkina tells princess Maria that Alexander and Natalie are lovers.
Liza apologizes to her father, she didnt know that he is still wounded. Marfa asks Liza to keep secret the fact that she found her father alive. Liza says she cant lie to her mother. She tells Peter that she considers him dead and leaves. Marfa admits that she lied to Peter: she didnt send Peters letters to his children. She begs him to forgive her, but he is very disappointed.
Polina comes to ask Vladimir if he wants something. Korf says no. Then she tries to seduce him, but he refuses her. Polina thinks this is because of Anna. Korf gets annoyed and orders her to leave.
Anna sends Karl Modestovich to search Gregory.
