  • Can I use some kind of wrapping paper?

The one I got for my bday two days ago is REALLY thick so I'm afraid I wont able to fold it after some time...

    Answer please!

  • @mobradovic00 I've folded with wrapping paper many a times - but not all wrapping paper is suitable for folding. Try to stay away from plasticy paper, as well as paper with a glossy surface. Try to find something that feels more like paper, and especially try to fold with something that is a bit crisp (vs soft). As to thickness - yes, this model is better folded with thinner paper. Having said that, I'm folding with wrapping paper in this video, too, and it's not super thin.

  • What kind of paper are you using? thank you

  • @marvel2326 I am using wrapping paper, more specifically Kraft paper. It's widely available in Germany.

  • I wonder if it's possible to make a super-detailed version with a larger paper, with a a bigger grid? I might try that... :)
