  • Anyway, this is not even near the most complex-accessible thing I've ever heard. 11-tone equal temperament is often considered atonal and dissonant; but go to split-notes . com, go to the album "Transcendissonance" and listen to the last song on the album. It will change the way you think about music, I promise.

  • Great analysis! I've always said that a great composer can make the most obscure ideas seem accessible, and the most banal and mundane elements seem fresh and exciting. And here you actually give some examples of how that is possible. (besides just being a great composer, haha)
