TeleMail redefines the smart phone by allowing email to automatically flow to standard mobile phones with no new software downloads or special handsets, making the cell phone, on effect, an inexpensive cousin to the BlackBerry and Treo. TeleMail's new "Alias" feature also allows users to establish the first universal mobile network domain by matching a personal user name or "handle" with a mobile number. The "mobile domain name" land grab is now on and the mobile dashboard is waiting.
This looks like a great service. Unfortunately they burned through 5 million dollars and shut down in 2008.
