SSBB stage hack - Venom v1.0

Finally fixed the bugs. Now, watch me get pwn'd by coms as I show off the fact that I fixed the bugs.

Based off of Space Background Corneria by Hotdogturtle

Features:
-Top wings are pass-through platforms
-Bottom wings have grabbable edges, and can be jumped through from the bottom, but are not pass-through
-Arwings and Wolfen work just fine.
-The Great Fox still fires. I think it looks awesome, so I'm keeping it.

Known bugs/issues:
-One player spawns hanging from an edge. No idea how to edit spawns.
-The ship still has a splash as if it was in water.

So how does this work? do you download it into your SD card and it shows up as a stage? or do you need to download something else to make it playable in brawl?

You'll need to softmod your system by installing the Homebrew Channel, and download a program called Gecko OS for it. Then you'll need to download or make a cheat file with Phantom Wings' File Patcher code. Once you have that, put everything where it needs to be on the SD card and run it. I'm sure you can find a guide somewhere if you google around. Try checking Kitty Corp or the Smash Workshop on Smashboards. They're the foremost brawl modding sites, they can help you out.

@octane781 It's actually water. That's the part where the Great Fox skims the water normally, but without water, the particles look odd. No way to get rid of them that I found.

Without going too in depth, what would be the easiest way to make it so that my Wii can play these? Do I have to downgrade it via firmware from an SD card or something of the like?

Google Bannerbomb, download it an follow the instructions. To get the Homebrew Channel. Download Gecko OS, find a Brawl File Patch .gct file and put it on your SD card in a "codes" folder on the root.

Download the file, put it on your SD card under:

(DRIVE LETTER):/Private/Wii/App/RSBE/­pf/stage/melee/STGDXCORNERIA.P­AC

If you have a PAL system instead of NTSC, you might not be able to run it.

You can just say the splash is air coming from the ship because it is accelerating in speed.

Anyway, this is freaking awesome!
