Edgar Winter and White Trash - Roadwork
One of Winter's lesser known albums by today's generation, but by no means one of the least.

  • Need to put Tobacco Road from that album as well, haven't heard that version in over 35 years

  • I'll post it in two parts at some point, unfortunately YouTube is only letting me upload videos of ten minutes or less. It's a shame, as it's an amazing performance.

  • One of my favorite all time albums, a double album that shaped my rock taste for the rest of my life. Still have it, must go and find it to play again.

  • I still have (and listen to) my original LP of this as well as Johnny Winter's 'Saints & Sinners' as well as Edgar's 'They Only Come Out At Night'. I guess these guys were just too good for their own good. Radio didn't 'get' them and that's a shame. They still have volumes to teach today's musicians. Cheers!

  • Rick Derringer sounds great as a vocalist "and" guitarist!

  • i saw white trash in early 70's

  • @Bubbakahuna ..I remember calling our rock radio station in the 70`s and requesting Johnny Winter...the idiot told me "Its not in our format" Johnny Winter..."ROCK N ROLL" not a rock format...

  • White Trash and the Winter's rock!

  • I saw Edgar Winter' in 1972 after their second album came out. They were billed with all people, Don Mclean "American Pie" at the Richmond Arena in Richmond, Virginia. Mclean came out and said and I quote: "This Sound System Sucks!" The wine and beer bottles flew and he ducked for cover. Then this band came out, and played "Keep Playin that Rock and Roll" AWESOME!

  • a fantastic band !!

    we miss you guys...

  • Thanks for posting. This is an underrated live album. LaCroix and Winter were great together.

  • got this album on vinyl (15 here) i love it os much im startin to collect vinyl from anywhere i can get

  • kickin' it too hard!

  • Used to play this album EVERY night during 1972.

This captured live music at it's zenith point..hi energy music played by real musicians.

This album also landmarked Johnny Winter's re-appearance onto the music scene after his re-hab, as he makes an entrance to do "R'nR Hootchie -Koo".
