If the reactionary right were genuinely concerned with the sanctity of marriage, divorce and adultery would be illegal. This is just a smoke screen for the usual ignorant prejudice, and allows them, like Rush Limbaugh, with his three divorces, and Senator John Ensign, with several adulterous affairs, or Newt Gingrich, now on his third wife, to continue flaunting and violating their marriage vows.
