Max Hermanson and his Dad John Hermanson fished with us recently and Max caught this big 100lb plus tarpon at the 7 mile bridge with Capt Bob Brown, Jr. of Sundance Sportfishing Adventures. nice footage. show video uploaded JAN 2011. When was fish caught ? reason I am asking is what is Tarpon season ( from when , to when ) down there ? I will be vacationing last week in June and was wondering if we will be too late for Tarpon.
Jumped my first Tarpon under that bridge 2 years ago and we ran the drill just perfect, anchor bouy, other line in, boat under way etc. only to get cut off under the bridge within 20 seconds !!!!! Smart Dang fish. Either way , it was WOW cool.
