Laura's Dad -- Brian Gari & Beverly Bremers

Beverly Bremers has always been a favorite singer of mine. When I was planning to make this LA appearance, Bev graciously agreed to perform this song that was originally sung by Elynn Diamond on my "He's An Old Cat" CD (available at BrianGari.com & CD Baby.com.) It was taped at First & Hope in Los Angeles on March 5th 2011 & video archived & edited by Dave Edison.

I always liked Beverly Bremers and worship to this day Laura Nyro, and yeah Lou Nigro tuned my piano for years,too. Nice tribute to the father of a artist who was an angel, of light and dark, pure joy and drawn blind blues. There will never be another Laura Nyro. Or I guess, a Lou, come to think about it, he did.
