  • I always thought real french reeds were not supposed to be tuned within 15-20 cents of flue pitch....acoustics (good) are everything!!!

  • The French reed stop is the most magnificent stop of all, provided it's kept in tune. Memories of a 'pirate' CD of Cochereau at Notre-Dame, where, at the end of the Franck 'Piece Heroique' the top note at the end is WAY off. Would love to have seen Pierre's face at that moment lol
