On Tuesday, March 27, Deputy Chief of Mission Lee McClenny and Deputy Mayor of Johor Bahru Ismail bin Abdul Rahman jointly opened a Lincoln Corner in the city's Sultan Ismail Public Library in Johor, the southernmost state of peninsular Malaysia. Both VIPs signed a plaque marking the historic event in the presence of 160 local government officers, Fulbright English Teaching Assistants (ETAs), teachers, college and university lecturers, primary and high school students, and representatives from nine media outlets and the Embassy.
