part of leadership, as i understand it to be, is how one maintains his/her composure in the face of adversity. we respect the black leaders of our past (i.e civil rights movements) b/c they always knew how to get their points and feelings across in the manner that they choose to and not based on how they were treated. this allowed the America and WORLD to see the blatant racism that forced our government and concerned parties to give us partial audience and consideration. and i mean partial.

Obama didn't apologize to anyone. He simply said that he should have worded what he said in another way because he did kind of link the entire police force to one police officer's actions. He didn't apologize though. YOU need to chill.

Gates behavior was probably due to his 13 hour long trip, breaking into his own home and arrogance
